This will actually be my First Valentines Day really selling it. I am hoping that some of my previous customers will think of me when it comes time for those Valentines Day gifts. I have had quite a few order 2,3,4, even 5 times since I started this last year.

Yes I am very glad that the holidays are over. They seem very chaotic this year. It seems like the older my children get the more stressful the holidays become. The children love this time of year though so I put a smile on my face and make it the best I can for them. But I was definately looking forward to January 1st. Who wasn't right. Ha Ha. I hope you had a good holiday and that 2009 is a terrific year for you.

My tree and indoor decorations are all packed away for the year. It's odd because we usually keep them up till wello after the first and we took them down the day after Christmas. This is m,ainly due to dads walking issues and these being in his way so to speak. My outdoor lights are still up but not turnmed on anymore though. So I am glad the Holidays are over with. I've been battling some kind of virus for over a week and still not up to par. Hopefully I can shake this soon. Ugghhh!
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

As of today, the decorations are down and safely put away until the next time and I believe everything is finished with the exception of one gift that I have to deliver.. My husband has a favorite nurse at his doctors ofice and he has an appointment on Jan 9th, so we will be delivering her gift then.. And that will be the end of this years holidays.. I can say that I am glad, now it is on to getting Winter over with and summer on it's way again..

Hi Jill.
Yeah, I'm definitely glad the holidays are over. Bet you've got your decorations down by now. What few I had put out are put away now. Yup, I hear ya about being beat, me too! And now, I'm teaching a class at the local college and it's the first time I've taught in 15 years or so. I am busier than I don't know what!
Plus, I'm learning all the classroom technology stuff, which is downright mindboggling. I mean, the class has a "home page" on the web! I'm the one to upload pictures, articles, announcements, files, and to hold "chats" with the students. It is just unbelievable~! Maybe I'm just too far gone to learn that much technology...

I got the decorations down on Monday..after a weekend of traveling to a wedding. So much of this week is shot. I am also putting the finishing touches on my new book...rereading it for the 15th time gets a little old! LOL...when you know what's coming next takes the thrill right out of it! LOL...anyway you'll do just fine. I am sure you'll catch on right away...and I am a firm believer that learning something new keeps you young! This otta set you back about 10 years! LOL

Yes I glad they are over. Now all's we have to do is worry about this year. But I'm going to do the samething as it was so relaxing and fun to be with my son and not worry about presents. You are going to like this. I got my roommate to take down lights all colored ones as the white ones were not up. I got up and the white ones were up for New Years. My son goes look Mom New year lights just for you. Then I couldn't help it I had to laugh. Will now have to get them to take them down. They are so silly. Your friend onlydia

I'm a little bit sad, because it means I'll be going back to work.lol..and I still feel not totally rested. On Monday work is there again..( sighs). I had wanted the holidays to be longer and it was gone in a flash. It was fun being with family and relatives but I know what you mean. The household will be settled once again. Cheers.

My youngest son is coming in from the U.K. tomorrow so my decorations will stay up until Sunday. I know that he wants to see the tree and I still have Christmas pudding for him to taste. Am so excited that he is coming - he will see his sister for one day as she leaves on Monday back to N.C. so things won't quieten down in my house until the end of January but when Ryan leaves I still have my eldest son and the twins. so, yes, on sunday I will get them down and get the house back into some semblance of order. Blessings

My hand is raised real high. Can almost touch the ceiling! I love the holidays but by the time they are over and normal life continues, I'm worn out. We do have parties this weekend and all next weekend. Then I can relax. I didn't do any entertaining this year which was great but the constant running was tiring.

Has my life returned to normal? I don't think I even know what normal is hehehe. I have a good start at starting the New Year off right though. I had my two grandchildren at my house New Years Eve for a sleep over and my daughter and her husband didn't pick the kids up till later in the afternoon today. The house seems lonely now again. They were so good and I love them so much.

Hi Jill, Life was supposed to have returned to normal today and I really had to giggle when I saw the title of this discussion as I too was looking forward to getting back into work after the long break as I have been off since the 19th, got to work and within half hour had left again as my hand got crushed (not too badly, no bones broken but skin split, very bruised) The funny bit though is that for the next 48 hours I have to have my HAND RAISED LOL and an icepack every hour. What a question anyway, normal whats normal? Hope you had fun at the wedding. Huggles. Ellie :D
