Hello cowboy. I have worked for two school altogether. I worked for a longer time in the former one and the latter as well as the current one where I am working is almost as long in another three years. I am not sure whether I will be able to work here for another three years if I can find a better one in a better place with higher salary. I think that so long as we can find one with higher salary, it is ok to move on without having to always stay for the same one. Such is life that we are trying to improve as always. Good luck to you in the new year, dear friend.

Why not? If the pay is good and other benefits are there, why should I go into an unknown environment and try to know people all over again. Trying to build the career is good but after a certain age and with experience, I think one should try and settle down in one company if the overall situation is conducive.

I don't want to work for the same company all my life. It is very important for me to try a lot of different things and I would miss that if I worked for the same company all my life. I like to learn new things and to challenge myself, and that is another reason why I prefer to have many different jobs. I respect the opposite view (working for the same company) but it is not the right solution for me. I have had many different jobs over the years, and I don't regret changing jobs very often, because I have learned a lot and each place has been a new challenge.

Hello Porcospino. Before I moved to another place to work, I used to think ideally that I would like to work for one or two years from place to place as I could use this way as a way of learning more of different places for their customs and cultures and it is a cheaper way to travel. But since I moved to my current place to work, I have changed my initial idea and have been happy with my current working place for the good salary that I can get although sometimes I am still trying to find one with a higher salary. You see, I have my idea of working from one place to another is now changed with the good salary that I can get, as I think that it is more important to me to make more money than just enjoy traveling. LOL.

I am going to work in a company all my life if first I am happy in their company and the compensation satisfy me and the benefits are good also these are my reason that I have to remain in working in their company all my life but if not especially I am not happy then why would I stay much longer.

I do not want to. But I am all the same. I do not know where you are from. But in Japan I am told people are discouraged from job-hopping as salaries are fixed for similar type of work and/or years of experience. And people take pride in retiring from the same company. In my case it almost looks like I have past the age of job change and may have to live with the reality that I may have to work for the same company all through life. But the fact is given the good order book position of my company and the relative empty order book of competitors there sems to be no safety in job-hopping either. Nor is there going to be a great pay-rise here. It is a double bind.
