Has your cellphone ever dropped to the ground?

Last night my cellphone was dropped to the ground badly by a mistake. The cover split and then I forced them to cover again. The cover was broken a little. At for the few minutes, it had problem to boot. I rebooted it several times and finally it's OK. I wonder whether this was a coincidence. As I am considering to buy a new cellphone and perhaps I have to wait for some time so that the price will be better. Perhaps my this mistake may speed up to buy a new cellphone? If it really can't work after dropping to the ground, then no matter what I have to get a new one.

My old cellphone has been dropped to the ground repeatedly, and has been washed in the washing machine by mistake. It made it through being dropped over and over and even survived the washing machine, but then I dropped it one last time and it completely fell apart. New cellphone time for me, about a month ago.

Actually no. My husband took it apart and we dried out all of the pieces for over 24 hours. Then he put it back together and it worked. It continued working for nearly a year later, and then it got dropped one time too many at the grocery store.

Unfortunately my PDA has dopped and my screen broke. As it was still under guarantee they replaced me the screen free of charge but I had to pay for transportation fees. At least it was a small fee involved and it was worth it repairing it.

Yes, I have dropped my cell phone a couple of times. I am lucky though that it is still functioning. Well, I guess most of us have had the experience of dropping our cell phones. It is very hard to prevent. I really don't know if someone has not dropped his or her cellphone even for once.

In fact, my cellphone often drop to the ground, this kind of thing happens nearly every a few days, because I am a very careless girl. But my cellphone is Nokia, so it doesn't break till now. I have bought it for nearly three years and it still work well now.

I dropped my phone many times but not as brutal as to what happened to your phone. Mine neved split in two but still working fine. Maybe it's got something to do with where it's made hehe.. I had a Nokia 6600 phone before and i dropped it like 3 feet below the ground. I thought it was nothing but one day the screen turned all white so i figured it might have caused by the fall. I sold it right away so i can buy a newer one which is what i'm using now. It's a little old too, a Nokia 6680. I've no plans of buying phone anytime soon so i'm hoping not to drop this thing over and over again because i might have dropped this phone more than 5 times already.

Yes, it happened a lot with my cellphone. But never had the problem that it wasn't working anymore. Sometimes I need to restart my cellphone, but that's everything. I can still do everything after it dropped...

If I'm not mistaken, I dropped my cellphone once, but not too badly, as my cellphone is still working. I put my cellphone inside the pocket of my sweater, when I bend down, I did not realize the pocket is so small, and the cellphone just fell out from the pocket. That was the first time I dropped my cellphone, I usually handle my cellphone very well.

hahahaha, sorry for your poor cellphone. Can it work now?One of friends talked to me over a dinner about geting a new cellphone cuz the old one doesnt work well.We took a walk on the street after finishing dinner. She found her phone missing in a little while. Was that coincidence? The phone was stolen after its owner said it would be discarded. I remember that one of your discussions talked about buying a new phone. Now you have really good reason to buy the phone you've already talked about.hahaha, Best wishes and good luck!

I am forever dropping my cell phone. In spite of this fact, it amazingly still works fine. The back comes off and the battery falls out so I have it taped now. It's all scratched up too. Maybe I should consider getting a protective cover for it. What do you think?

It has to be since I'm a klutz. My brother-in-law dropped his phone in a parking lot. That one didn't survive. It got run over and smashed.
