Hi - I have some experience of these products dating back sbout 15 years. My own view is that the products are usually pretty good quality. However, they are not cheap! They are a home marketing system and some people claim to earn fantastic sums - though I suspect that unless you are very much into home marketing and are good at it that your chances of doing so may not be great. When I looked into it you had to be successful at recruiting people down you and ensure that you kept marketing yourself at a certain minimum level to potentially succeed. I don't recall the nutrilite product particularly, but presumably a health and nutrition supplement of some kind. Again, I suspect, not cheap. But I guess the more pertinent question is why you are interested in this product...are you looking for a good health supplement, are you looking for an income, or are you trying to help your friend out?

PS to last post. From the heading this is under I would guess you are after potential health benefits. I would honestly doubt whether the Amway product has any more to be said for it than a lot of the other products around, but it all depends on what you believe in. From a personal perspective if I had a specific health problem I would research into that a bit and maybe consult someone about it or at least adopt a relatively targeted approach. If I just felt in need of a supplement to top up I might take multivitamins with minerals. But if I wanted solid improvement in health I would focus much more on a broader look at lifestyle and diet as the primary means of input as I do not really believe in miracle cures......! Most people eat an appalling diet and then expect to feel well or lead a lifestyle full of stress and do not take proper care of themselves! So look at the basics first![I would add here that I am by no means a paragon of virtue on any of these counts, but I do see real improvement in my health when I take better care of myself and notice the problems when I fail to do so!]

If you are looking for specific products as alternatives - I would not go there personally, unless perhaps you want to be in home marketing. Personally I could not stand this as I could never cope with the idea of persuading personal friends to part with cash for my benefit! I believe in retaining a sense of personal integrity and that is particularly high in priority for personal friends, who matter to me. But I guess if you believe enough in a particular product then you could justify it to yourself...maybe. Why not start from yourself, and what you believe in? That way you will develop from firm foundations rather than from the hype somebody else has generated to get you to buy their stuff!
