Hi
Even if a test ends in a draw, points can be awarded to excellence in fielding, batting and bowling, specifically concentrating on runrate. The team which scores more points can be declared the winner of the drawn test.
Decide LBW decisions with hawk eye which definitely will contribute to more dismissals and make batsman actually play positively without using their pads to block deliveries. All this will definitely produce a result oriented match.
Leave all caught behind decisions to third umpire so that batsmen will not enjoy second life (remember sydney and andrew symonds)
Bowlers should be allowed to bowl bouncers freely as batsmen of these days are completely attired to prevent injuries. This will give bowlers the upper hand leading to a better balance between bat and ball, resulting in more dismissals and viewing pleasure.
All said and done, even in the present format, test cricket has become more entertaining and result oriented with the advent of 20/20. The india australia series, india england series and australia and south africa series are examples of this, where most of the test matches produced results.
Thanks

Yes, its for sure that the arrival of twenty twenty has made not only the test cricket, but also the one day internationals to be boring. But actual efficiency of a team in displayed in test cricket only, where hitting all over the ground is not possible, nothing needs to be changed in test cricket. Test cricket is one of my favorite.

Dear friend,
At times I feel so when the match just comes to slow and the players just goes out of forms. As you suggest the 20-20 has really taken the charm of cricket with much speedy and thrilling way. Hope tests are really a long time to spend is is a bit long remedy but 20-20 is just a capsule.

oh yes i agree. i love watching cricker, but i hate test match;s. once you watch 20-20 it is full of fun and so fast, before you know it the whole match turns around. wickets mean everything. it is fast. test match's just go on and on...yes they are boring.

yes the arrival 20-20 have reduced the interest toward the test cricket but i think that the test cricket has its own group of audience which makes the people to come and watch the test match till now . i think the skill of the players to really stand at the crease is tested in the test match but in the 20-20 the ability of the person to hit the maximum amount of the runs with the minimum number of balls is being tested. i think there should not be any changes in the format of test cricket because most them like the test cricket in its natural form
