Some of us have a close family-ties as a result of cultural and family backgrounds. And sometimes because of our studies and works, these situations forced us to be away from our families and be on our own. What if you are already 18 years old or above, and still living with your parents? Do you want to live independently away from your family? And why?

I do want to live away from my family. They drive me mad. I get tired of living here and dealing with constant fighting or snide comments under their breath every five minutes. I'm 22 and still in college so I'm only home during breaks but everytime I come home my patience with them becomes less and less.

U know i was having such a feeling to live independently when i just turned 18. But as days are passing I have started realizing the value & role of family & near ones in our life.I think family makes a complete man out of you emotionally ,socially & spiritually.Family keeps a check on the wrong flowing independence & the man sails in the right direction in life.I would always love to live eith my family,as I love my family.

Yeah but not too far away because I like my family. It's just that where there is family a lot of times there is quarrels. I'll visit regularly but sometimes it's just good to be by yourself.
