How many hours of `logged-in` mode would be the optimal? 4 hours? 12 hours? 30 minutes? WHY? How long do You stay logged-in? Do You stay logged-in in the messenger even if You don`t really need to chat? There are no unsolved problems, no parties or interesting evenings, everything that You had to talk about with Your people: You have already talked about. So: why to stay `logged-in`?

Every time I boot my computer I will log in into my messenger both Yahoo and MSN. I always log in because sometimes my friends will pm me if they need help. Beside that I can see who online and can ask them to join me playing online games.

I usually always stayed logged in the messenger because I always see one of my friends on then I start chatting with them, but after a little while my friend or I stop the chat and then everything seems boring. Sometimes he replies because he might of be away and he just forgot to say, it's not really annoying when I'm on the internet at the same time, I don't really care if somebody is going to talk to me on messenger and I'm doing something.
