I have never been into reading vampire books or werewolf books but my oldest granddaughter (14) had just got done reading all four books of this series and made the comment that she thought I would really like these books. I asked her if there was any gore in the books and she said no. I read the first book of the series which is Twilight and it is the best book I have ever read. It is about Belle and Edward and that basically is what the whole story is about. It centers around those two. The other characters make the story very good but the two main ones really do the story up fantastic. And believe it or not it is a romance story about vampires. It blew me out of the water. But I have to say the story was done great. I have read New Moon the second book of the series and am now presently waiting to get Eclipse the third book. So if you haven't read it do. Because it is a great series. If you have read it tell me what you think of it?

Hi Sunshine, I've not read this particular book you mentioned, but few weeks back I read one of my neighbour's kid's book "School Boys" whose author is a Russian guy. It was one of the most interesting book I've ever read. I was amazed to read that how one student used to fail in maths and science, and how systematically, step by step, he was guided and became a topper one day. Steps given were so simple that any child, weak in any subject, can go through it and follow those steps, which are very helpful. Wish You a Happy New Year!

I have not read the book but I have watched the movie and it's titillating. Those who have read the book say however that the book is better as expected, because it goes into the details of the character's feelings and emotions, while the movie is superficial. Now that you said it , I would like to read the book too sometime in the future. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

I haven't seen the movie but my grandkids and their Dad (My Son) and his wife have seen it. My one granddaughter said she would like to see it again with me. So I might go and see it with her.

I never really thought about reading vampire books to be honest with you, though I used to love watching vampires in films.

This series is more of a love story. It is a really good book. I never thought I would read a story about this but this is a unusual story and it is done so well.

That is what I thought was so neat. I had never read a love story involving a vampire or werewolf. My oldest granddaughter suggested the book and it sure is a great book to read. I loved Twilight, New Moon and now I am waiting to read Eclipse the third book.

I have heard so much about these books that I just had to read them. I received the first book in the series at Christmas, but I have not read it yet. I was a bit concerned about the whole vamipire theme, but I have heard such wonderful reviews that I had to try them. I am also concerned that it is a young adult book. I hope it is not below my reading level. I guess that I will see after I have read it.

My fourteen year old granddaughter told me about it. When I read the first book there is nothing that is in the book that would influence a young adult. There is no gore in the book. It is a good whole some book to read.
