How do you cope with all the stress that is brought on by the hollidays

I try to keep things simple. Thanksgiving, my husband and I just stay at the house with our son and eat here. For christmas- we go to the families houses but we don't buy expensive gifts. We normally buy everyone one small cheap gift.
