Trying (NOT) to Flip a Nut here!!! GGGRROOOWWWLLL!!!!

Yeah I know I said I'm trying NOT to flip a nut here and oh its soooo hard!!!
Normally my check arrives on the 3rd, well it falls on a Saturday and checks were/are supposed to be in the mail today;
Mine was not!! And yes I'm flipping out a bit here; Sressed out !!
I blame my mailman and its a long long story of why I blame him main reason
is this Is NOT the first time he has done this or "forgot" to give me my check;
Stupid MORON!!! I honestly would like to do him physical harm!!
Maybe I'll get it tomorrow but my mail runs late of an afternoon and it won't do me
any good cause I'll have no way of cashing it until MONDAY....and if its not here by
Monday then I get the extreme "pleasure" of dealing with them about me not getting a check and then they have to put a halt on the one supposedly being delivered and its a huge huge headache and one I really really don't need;
If I had a dime to bet on , I'm guessing the check is in DUMB-BUTT'S mail pouch/bag thingy, just likes its been before...mistakenly laying there all by its lonesome;
I caught him here one time last summer on a payday I was out on my swing and I started griping to him that I got everything but my check, and he's halfway into his little vehicle and he goes, Oh here it is...DUH!
He laughs and says, I bet you need that huh??? YEAH YA THINK????
I could write a book on this guy, I've no idea how he keeps his job;
I got so stressed out and crazy here I ate a whole giant Hershey bar...LOL!
Not good when you're a diabetic huh?? AARRGghhh!!!!

have you tried making a complaint to the post office about him or the postmaster general of the area, maybe something can be done about him, mailmen are not supposed to forget to deliver mail that is their job.

Instead of having this headache to deal with, don't you have a checking account so your check could be direct deposited? I have that with my checks and glad I've done this. My mother didn't have a checking account and got her pension and SS checks in the mail also...don't ask how many times the checks were lost in the mail

HI Pye; Nope no direct deposits for the last couple of years since I had identity theft I had used two different banks and they got me both times, once the scumbags
get your S.S.N. and they have my mother's maiden name and other stuff you're
screwed basically in the "electronic day and age" it was a nightmare, so I started having them mail my checks to me and its not been any less stressful either;
ugh!!!

Have you looked into direct deposit? no mail man required! I think if I were you, I would be calling the post office to complain on the half wit that deliverer's your mail!
a whole candy bar? you better be jumpin' up and down a lot to get your sugar levels down!

Hi Stormy: yeah dumb dumb me was so stressed out I forgot to put in my topic that I don't do direct deposit anymore, I had identity theft a couple of years ago and they got me in both banks; So I quit using them and started having them mail me my
checks, it was all fine until I moved here in town where I am now;
I have the worlds worst postal carrier I swear I do ....he's just careless and doesn't pay attention to what he's doing;
Yeah I ate that blasted candy bar I usually stretch it out and make it last as long as I can, but yesterday I WOLFED that baby down quickly I was flipping out so badly here;
Ate another one today while waiting for him to come...LOL! My Bad I know!
But thankfully I did get it today! Thank The Lord!

you should seriously look into getting direct deposit so your cheques will go straight into your bank account rather than dealing with this nonsense. Whoevers fault it is whether it be the mailman, post office or your employer I would get down to the nitty gritty and find that out. Your postman seems a bit stunned. I would call in a complaint unless you have already.
Good luck

It sure sounds like that whole post office that is in your district are a bunch of stunned people!
That really really sucks that you were a victim of identity theift!
I don't blame you for not wanting to wait outside this time of year for your mailman if it's cold, and why should you even have to?
your next step should be going to higher sources. If you don't get this fixed then go to someone higher. Call the US postal service then. Keep asking the person who's on the phone with you if you can talk to their supervisor and raise hell. Every person has a boss or higher management and keep searching until you talk to the highest person on the ladder until you have this matter solved. Don't let them take advantage of you. They are working for your government and I forsure know how those people work with their cushy jobs. You can not depend on the government when it comes down to them doing a job for you.
Good luck!

HI Nixxi: Yeah silly me forgot to put this in my topic I was so freaking mad at the time but here is why I don't have direct deposit anymore;
Nope no direct deposits for the last couple of years since I had identity theft I had used two different banks and they got me both times, once the scumbags

yeah my postman is stunned that's for sure..LOL!! Yep I've complained about him on many things at the post office for all the good it does:
Not only does my other mail too go to wandering around but there are times he doesn't even stop to pick up my packages, he doesn't "look" to see if there is a red flag up on my mail box which is easy to see from the street...he's just a moron!!
he figures I guess if there is no mail, HA YEAH RIGHT! then he does not have to come up on my porch and pick up my mail or my package..and that's not right either;
Its' too cold for me to sit outside like I do in the summer time waiting on him
or waiting there to make sure he picks up my package;
he's a moron plain and simple!!! UGH!

Hi Jan
Having a bad day hon? It's really a bummer that you didn't get your check! I know I depend on my monthly check in order to pay bills and stuff.
I guess I'm lucky because I get my disability check deposited directly in my checking account. I don't have worry about the mailman being nice to me.
Hope it comes on Saturday!
Happy MyLotting!

I am a stress eater too so I know how you could down a Hershey bar. This gentleman is just playing you around. No liberties should be taken with a person's mail - it is almost sacred. Do you think that perhaps he is just joking with you or really being mean? You could ask him out right and try to straighten this out. If this doesn't work then perhaps you should report him. I do hope that this can be sorted out amicably. Blessings

I'm assuming you are talking about a social security check. Correct me if I'm wrong. Why don't you have direct deposit? I've had my daughter's going direct deposit for quite a number of years and never have to worry about lost mail or inept mailmen.

I hope you nor your daughter ever go through what I did via identity theft its wretched to get out from under and long story short its a nightmare....

Hmm, either you live in my area or postmen are the same everywhere. I have finally switched to getting all my important mail like bills etc by e mail. Of course I have my check direct deposited, but I see you've been a victim of identity theft so than won't work.
One thing that did work for me was I called the post office. I was expecting to talk to the rout supervisor, but instead I got a recording. I gave my name, address and complaint about my mail man. Within a week he had been replaced. I've known people who go to the postoffice and speak to a real person and get nowhere. The person insists that if they don't get their mail, it was not mailed on the date specified, blah blah blah.

HI ya Bead: I've gone to the post office a couple of times since I've lived here
it doesn't do any good not in my town, I think the boss and this guy must be some sort of blood kin or something , everything I say or do falls onto deaf ears!
I'd get a box there but can't afford the monthly payment and I shouldn't have to
do that you know?
I hope it comes today otherwise I will be losing what's left of my tiny mind; (G)!!
its so sad isn't it when we have to argue and complain about our Mail carriers???
I had a really good one when I lived out in the country, he's been the same guy
on that route well most of my life and for Christmas several people on my Dad's
side they are just as dumb, they never can write down my new address so they either
send my cards to me via my old address or send them to my dad's place which is fine
but I had two cards go to my old address DUH! it will be two years next month now;
so my Old mailman takes them to my Dads, he is of course the same mail carrier for him as what I had, so that was nice of him to do that; At least he knew I'd get them one way or another (G)!
NOW THAT'S THE KIND OF MAIL CARRIER WE ALL NEED!!! ya know??

Hey jan! You have to calm down now! I know how you feel! I
hate having to depend on snail mail and the mailman for my
important mail! My regular mailman is great, but if he is
out on vacation or his day off or sick forget it! The mail
could end up anywhere and has! It can be in the wrong building,
in someone else's box and they won't bring it to the right
place even if they know where you live! So if I do get my
disability finally this is what I will have to look forward
to? Waiting for the check in the mail? OMFG! I will have a
heartattack every friggen month! Now I just call a phone
number and it goes into the account! I think I like that better!
It seems safer! It certainly is more reliable! Maybe it will be
there tomorrow. Just calm down and wait and see! I know that is
easier said then done!

HI Opal honey: LOL! Me calm down??? ROTFL! Well I wasn't then but I am still
loop-headed from last nights meds, but they will wear off of me soon (EG)!!!
then we shall see from there;
I just wish my mail service ran SOONER of a day instead of the last section of his long route, UGH!!
I forgot to add this in my topic about the direct deposit so here is what I put under
Pyes response;
Nope no direct deposits for the last couple of years since I had identity theft I had used two different banks and they got me both times, once the scumbags

I had read where they were going to have a debit type of card for our disability
other government checks for us here in Missouri aka state of MISERY...but I don't know when that will take place and I do have other debit types of cards that I use on like paypal and Amazon and here and stuff but not sure I'd trust them either with my disability check;
( banging my head here) what to do what to do??
Hopefully Num-nuts will get it to me safely TODAY!!! and I pray it didn't
get left at someone else's house on my block...that will be scary and NOT GOOD!
NOT GOOD at all!!! ( for me) (sigh)!!

OMG!! What would happen if you call his boss on him? Maybe anonymously? Block your number and say you are at an address on his route and he "forgets" to deliver your mail. I am lucky, my mail carrier likes me! Maybe it has to do with the holiday tip and present! Bribery has it's time and place too! Good luck and don't get sick on that chocolate!

HI Shawna: I've talked to his boss up face to face at my local post office, if you'll scroll back and read some of my answers to others here then I won't have to retype it all...My old stiff fingers are getting sore already this morning , haven't scalded them with hot waster yet to loosen them up;
Yeah I'm that pathetic (G)!!!
Frickin Arthritis and the weather here is changing on us;
Anyway Hopefully it will be here today, that's all that matters if it doesn't show up today then I will go into a full blown five alarm fit...LOL!
God Help the mailman then!! If it wasn't so blasted cold outside I'd wait
for him out on my swing like I did of a summertime on payday's....
they can't ignore me then when I sit on my swing waiting for them, sometimes I have
package to mail too...and if I'm outside, well they have to stop ya know?
Hopefully it will come today;

i think you are little upset about all that saturday halt. but see sometimes it happens what can you or the postman. if not today then it will be delivered tomorrow . its just a matter of 2/3 days not more than that. so why lose patience . when you know your check is on its way then it will reach you soon...have a good new year.

Hi Sunil: Well it is upsetting when you are counting out the long month until your next payday, and then when it comes, and there's no check, you kinda flip out
maybe its just me but I live on "nothing" basically once I get my check its gone in
a matter of minutes/seconds and then I have the whole 30 days to wait again for
my next one, so any extra days/ I have to wait it out for my mailman to find it/
fix his mistake etc...it is a big deal to me;
Hopefully you won't have to experience this sort of thing in your lifetime but
when you do it is upsetting;
