How do you folks get referrals?

I try everything! referral getting sites, mylot, blogging, forums, youtube etc etc. Everything I can do online, obviously I don't want to pester friends and family. It can be a little frustrating can't it? How does the mylot universe do it?

REFERRAL EXCHANGES. GIVE SOMEONE A REFERRAL LINK IN ORDER TO SIGN UP UNDER THEIRS AND BE ACTIVE. That's pretty much the only way I have been able to.

I'm not so sure I like the idea. I'll end up with 100 sites I'm a member of, and even more referrals I have to get before I can get close to payout.

Referral exchanges here or on some forums, promoting blogs (traffic exchanges) and getref.. For me getref is best and brings me most of my referrals.:).

There are different ways but I think the best one would be to build a mailing list(s). Build relationships first with your subscribers so they will trust you, and you don't spam them. Then you probably could get many of them to be referrals in multiple websites. Think about it. Internet marketers have mailing lists of people that trust them, and they are making a lot of money online.
