Armed robbery; what would you do?

Imagine you had a job as a cashier or any job that had anything to do with your employer's money and an armed man pointed his gun at you and demanded cash, what would you do? I used to think I would put up a fight and the very though of someone threatening me and telling me what to do used to enrage me. My attitude has changed now and I tend to think "Is it worth risking your life for a couple of hundred that are not even yours?" Besides, the employer would probably prefer you to give away the money so they don't have to support your grieving family...

Makes sense but I often find myself alone in the building when I work in the afternoons so if anyone gets shot that would be me I wonder if dying on camera would be a consolation... Naw,it's not worth it!

Yeah, they do tell you that but I have my doubts. Wouldn't it be nice to stomp your foot on the chest of the Big Bad Man?

Te fact is that most employers will tell you in training to comply with any robbers demands and if they want the money just give it to them. The sad part about it is that too many cashiers have been try to be heroes the last few years, this causes a huge problem. The problem is that many robbers are now killing the clerks without even giving them the option to choose to comply.
