are you hopeful for the year 2009?

Well, I don't know if there is something to hope for this year. LOL. It seems that it is harder than last year. Jobs are scarce, people are having a hard time. Well, I am not pessimistic but let's just wait and see if there is more improvement this year than last year. We will just do what we can to survive.

Well, the economic rundown doesn't really affect me last year, except that my investment in stock market has lost a lot. But I am still quite hopeful for the year 2009, hopefully everything will be better for everyone.

Having lived through several recessions before, I don't worry about that because when times are hard for some they are better for others. In fact when the economy "experts" proclaim all is well, those times have historically been the worst for me. It just all depends on what kinds of skills a person has and one's profession, I guess. My hopes for 2009 are no different than for any other year, mainly for everyone I know and love to be in good health, prosper, and enjoy honest friendships and for the world to be at peace (fat change that one!) and for everyone to have freedom and enough to eat, shelter from the storms, safety, and a chance for a decent education.
