When it's winter in the northern hemisphere, actually it's the summer in the southern hemisphere. For example, it has the snow in Christmas in New York. But you can even wear a swimming suit in Sydney in Christmas. Which do you prefer? A cold or warm Christmas?

I prefer a white christmas. It is my dream to travel to Austria, Germany or other places to see how a white christmas is like. I don't like to celebrate a Christmas in a bathing suit. It is so unreal to me.

I was born and raised in the east coast of the U.S.I am in the Mid Atlantic, which means we Can have snow but we aren't really used to it. The best Christmas weather for me is mild. Not so cold that it may snow but not so warm that you need air conditioning.I like it when it rains on Christmas. I like gray days.

I like staying home and watching a good film when it rains. These are the best days.

I have never spent a Christmas in a warm place so I don't know how that feels. I have always spent it here in NYC. How is it by you, cold or warm?

I'd prefer a warm Christmas, but it does get cold here in the desert where I live. We even had some snow this year but it melted before Christmas Day. If I ever win the lottery I am going to live here in the Spring and Summer then move south of the Equator for Autumn and Winter

You don't have to ask me twice. Chicago has really cold weather. On Christmas Eve it was a mess with icy roads and freezing, very cold weather.
I remember my Christmas on Florida and it was my best Christmas ever.
I don't mind the snow if is not freezing, but in Chicago I don't remember warm Christmas.
I would rather have very warm Christmas and artificial snow...

I live in Virginia. It snow's here sometimes at Christmas, but sometimes not.I have arthritus and do not like the cold weather. But,the snow is pretty and has more of a Christmas feeling.I do not like it if I have to go out in it or family cannot come visit us.

Well, it's a bit late to be responding to this question, as we had a very cold one. What I want is impossible - a warm Christmas, albeit with snow outside. Unless I stay indoors all Christmas long in a well-heated home, or by a warm fire, it'll never happen. Where I live, it wouldn't "feel" Christmas-y for me without the snow, even here in the west coast, which is known to be the rainiest in the nation. I'll take the snow over the rain, as long as it's not too much.

In the US, I've had Christmas in the mid-Atlantic and Florida. I have also had Christmas on a tropical island and in Australia (Melbourne). So I have had quite a range of Christmas weather. But in the end, I prefer it cold on Christmas, if only for the fact that it's how it was when I was a child.

I would prefer a cold christmas. It is more wonderful spending christmas holidays in sweetshirt and jogging pants, the food especially salad and desserts are more interesting to eat than with warmer climates.
My appetite is motivated to eat more in cold season.hehehe

I live in Canada, so I should probably get used to snow. LOL I am one of those people who wishes it woudln't snow at all. I wish that we could have some nice green Christmases, where we woudln't have to worry about falling and slipping in a bunch of wet crap. My husband fell down the stairs on Christmas eve, because of the wetness brought in by slushy snow.

I live in Florida so it is warm for Christmas and I prefer that IF I am going to have a cold Christmas I VISIT there... I am not a cold-weather person... but that has not happened in a long time. I have not seen snow for like 5 years or so.
Thanks

hi, youless
i would prefer a cold christmas. christmas season is a very busy time for me and my family. there are thousands of things to do and it would really be irritating if the weather is warm or hot. a cold christmas would make us comfortable and keep people from being irritable. with that, we will all have a cheerful christmas!
have a nice day!
