Do you like to sing in karaoke or do you find it disturbing?

Music is the language of the soul. I love to listen to music and sing along with it. Singing songs just make my day a lot lighter. I love to sing in karaoke too. I really don't have the voice of an artist but I do my best to sing and carry the tune well. Karaoke is a form of singing entertainment by filipinos which was popularized by the Japanese. Most filipinos love to sing and they usually have karaoke time in some of the social gatherings.The singing along with the music in the absence of the original vocalist is a lot of fun but not a lot of people do it. Some people find it disturbing seeing or hearing other people singing at the top of their voice. Oh well, karaoke are for amateur singers so expect the shrieky voices. They are made for fun. How about you, do you like to sing karaoke or do you find it disturbing?

Hello hibiscus_mel! I do love to sing at the karaoke. We have karaoke at home and singing there is what I did most of my time during my christmas vacation. It is even enjoyable if I have my friends and relatives with me singing together.

I also do sometimes invite my friends over for karaoke. Sometimes they invite me to their house doing the same thing. We find doing this fun. I do believe it has fostered our friendship well.

Karaoke is the pavement for quite a lot of amateur singers. The equipment is said to be invented by the Japanese, which helps to encourage and guide people who have singing as their hobby. And it has done umerous wonders here and there.
But I do not like the KTV compartments, usually decorated not to my like.
I feel the air filthy and unhealthy. Very often the girls working there are doing against their will to flatter the customers. That is the worst thing I suspect why I do not like KTV.

I love to sing at home where it is safe and no filthy smells. Most of all I can be who I want to be.;-)

I love music. When I hear a good song on the radio I sometimes sing along with the song. I have never done karaoke in front of other people in a bar or club.

We don't need to show it to the public that we love music. It is good you appreciate music in your own way. Music gives positive effects on people. It can make us happy and relieve our stress. That is why I love it and express it anytime I like.;-)

My mom usually sing karaoke song almost everyday, i dont like it but i have no choice but rspect her. I admit that i like to sing too even i dont have a good voice but with no microphone so that my voice will not be heard outside the house for my neigbor will get irritated by it. Happy mylotting.

Hello margarit. I think she finds joy in singing. You just let her be. You should try singing along with the microphone it would definitely sound better. Who cares about your neighbor?;-)lol There would always be time for everything. As long as you don't sing in the middle of the night I think you will be fine.

I do love to sing karaoke. It is a filipino favorite past time. It lightens up our day. I cannot sing well though but I am practicing. I just sing for the fun of it anyway. I specially love newer songs.

Yes, karaoke has been a filipino past time. For sure a lot of people enjoy that hobby together with some drinks. I think it is a good thing to be able to express how you feel through singing. There are a lot of songs that we can relate into. It is always fun to sing along with the music. It is very nice to be able to sing even if our voices are not that good. I feel so good to sing my heart out.

I sing at home and in my friend's houses too. We do it anyway for fun. I actually have tried singing in public.lol. It is scary but fun. Believe me it takes a lot of courage to do that especially when you have mixed emotions. I have magic sing at home. It's a microphone with a song chip. I can sing my heart out anytime I like but I do consider my neighbors so I have it in a minimal volume.;-)
