finding a new job

with the world ecconomy in turmoil how difficult is it going to be to find proper long term paid employment, this is first time in 6 years i have been unemployed and generally find i am able to find a job pretty quickly so what i want to ask is how long is the longest you have had to look for work? how many interviews did you have to attend? and any good or bad experiences in looking for jobs?
