Yes, It surely has become part of our lives.I use it for everything. If I need to cook up a special meal I go into the net search for the recipes and try it out.Whenever I have any doubts I get it cleared by going into the net.Now I don't really call my vet unless its very necessary I get all information for my dog on the net.Even when I have health problems I check it out before I consult a doctor. It is very useful.Even when I'm bored i normally spend my time on the net rather than watching TV.Its a real boon.I wonder how we lived without it.

Hi Mitraa, I do agree that the Internet has take a vital role in today's life. One can read newspapers online or else send and receive emails instead of sending nsnamil mail. One can chat with relatives and friends that are abroad, booking flights, fidning information. internet canbe used for a variety of normal activities that we do in normal daily life.

Of course, the Internet is part of life. I cannot imagine what I will do without it. I simply wouldn't be able to manage. :)
Cheers and happy Mylotting

Well if you'd told me 15 years ago that I'd be interacting with people from all over the world every day as a matter of habit, I'd have had trouble believing you. It's also become a very important tool for political networking (the political party that I'm a member of basically started with some political bloggers getting together and saying it was about time we had a libertarian party in this country). And of course I've recently found lots of different ways of making money online (which I wish I'd investigated a year or two earlier). So yes, I would say the emergence of the internet has been revolutionary.

I agree totally. Even though most would deny, i know how it has affected our lives. the social life has been metamorphosed to a great extent. We hardly socialise and always feel the urge to log in, this is an addiction. In the future generation things would change completely.

The internet is definitely a part of my life also. I earn my income from home online. I work seven days per week online right now.

I believe that the Internet can take up too much time and I have felt the need to get on-line every day, but now I exercise discipline and sometimes go a day or two without switching on my computer. There is so much out there on the web, and the mind loves to find new information, but we have to have a physical life too in my opinion.. :-) Derek

Definitely yes. The internet these days plays an important role in our lives. It's important in business, because its helping people promote and introduce their products to a larger clientele. In terms of communication, I am personally benefitting the 24/7 free communication service I have with my husband through YM and Live Messenger. Emails are the fastest way of communication now...
Indeed, the power of the internet keeps on growing and it will never stop. But of course, everything has got its dark side. One of the critical issue with regards to the internet is the lack of monitoring, the freedom into using the internet questions the reliability of the information and even the personality of people. Another issue is the question about guidance in the use of underage users. If their use of the internet will not monitored, it could give scary results.
