i have had more than one person tell me that its really important for me to dump the cookies on my computer everyday and i don't really know why thats such a big deal, because i didn't think that it took up that much room, but it seems like when i do dump my cookies my computer does do a little better and i just don't know why this is and i was just wondering if anyone could tell me why its so important to dump the cookies on your computer? i want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to come by and read and review my discussion, and hopefully answer, i hope that you all have had a great week and that you have a happy and safe evening and weekend, thanks again for taking the time to come by!

It is not necessary to dump your cookies daily. It takes up a bit of space if you don't clear it every weekish. Cookies can contain spyware or malware which screws up your computer... but this is relatively uncommon.

the computer has to work more when you have cookies because it has to remember which website sites you have visited, so when type in a website next time the computer would have to search to find if you have visited anything similar to it before. but if you clear your cookies it doesnt have to search for anything because you clear them. thats why you may find its more better after you clear them.

Persistent cookies are used to collect identifying information about the user, such as Web surfing behavior or user preferences for a specific Web site.
