Potty training

It won't be long before I will be potty training my little guy so I need all the advice I can get. I'm not sure at all what to expect. He is an extremely smart little guy and seems to pick up on things quickly so hopefully I won't have much trouble.
I would love to hear potty training stories and advice.

I don't have kids but I've seen a younger cousin and my godson got potty trained when they were less than 2 years old. Their parents say that they let their child sit on the potty on a the same time each day as early as when they were 6 months old. They did that first with diapers on and then without until the children were able to grasp the concept of potty training. I hope that helps.
