You're not old enough to remember the GREATNESS of The Beatles 
I STILL love The Beatles, I STILL think they are a GREAT band, I STILL listen to their music & I STILL think their music is timeless!!!!

The Beatles were GREAT. I love all their music and listen to it especially during long drives. They make me happy and light. But if they are still living right now, do we give them the same veneration as we do now? For example, look at the Beegees, for a time, they were a great group but because the band is still intact, they are not as missed as compared to the Beatles (sorry for the comparison, comparing Beegees to THE Beatles seems unfair to the Beegees).

Their music would be different, I think. I could see a definite mellowing of their music as they grew older. I like the inventiveness and the creativity of their early music. Cheers!!!

I love the Beatles' songs until today and all the more so that I'd love their songs if they were still a complete band. Last Christmas, I visited You Tube and found John Lennon's "The War is Over". The You Tube material is a video of John Lennon about World Peace and his advocacy for peace through his music. It's a great video and I sent my Christmas and New Year greetings through it. Imagine if John Lennon were still alive today and the Beatles would be singing songs of hope and peace!With all our financial woes, the Beatles would have been singing about a better world. We need their kind of songs.
