This dog has now gone to the Bridge, but over her life, she rescued over 900 cats and at least one person. Besides rescuing her owner from depression.
So, lets all join together remembering Ginny, the dog who was once named "Cat of the Year!"

Hi ElicBxn,
What a heart warming story, it just goes to show that animals are far better and superior the humans, I hope Ginny is very happy at Rainbow Bridge and and know thar she will never have to rescue ever again as they are all safe there at the Bridge.

It figures she was a female. Women really are the superstars arent they? My dog likes to chase cats I don't see him saving any except possibly his roomate if push got to shove.

It's great to hear true stories like this one. I read about Ginny some time ago when she was still alive and finding lost cats. I think she was the most amazing dog a cat could ever know. I'm sure there are other dogs out there like her and cats as well.

Awww---I've bookmarked that site, I did read the main section, and plan to go back and watch the videos....what a great doggie...shame she passed on though. Since I didn't explore the whole site yet, I noticed that Ginny's owner still takes care of all those homeless cats. What a great story!

So, what exactly is the site about, other than a heroic dog who liked to rescue cats instead of chase them? Is it your site? I ask because i'm sure some of the pics there I've seen with your discussions about your fur babies!lol. Who knows though, as cats are as diverse as people and while no 2 will be the exact same, there are many that look similar.

Well, it helps to know that the pics come from Long Island before I decide to embed myself deeply in foot in mouth disease! lol.

Oh I remember the story of this little dog Jenny! Awwww bless her sweet heart! I didn't know she had passed over the Rainbow Bridge.... She was such an awesome dog, wasn't she? Gosh, she will be so deeply missed! You know she went straight to Heaven for all the wonderful things she's done for cats and her owner. May she rest in peace and get lots and lots of treats!! lol (I didn't mean to make that rhyme but I did!! LOL)
