I love traveling, sometimes I like to stick just to few countries that I already been before. Maybe it brings back memory to me or I love the food and ambiance there. I do love Hong Kong and Bangkok alot, I love to shop there, and they have nice foods. How about you guyz? Maybe by sharing this information, I'll know which other destination that may attract me to go there. ^O^

When I have to decide which country or city I want to visit, I usually choose places where I have never been, because I would like to see something new and something that I don't already know. One exception is Italy, I have lived there and I have already spent quite a lot of time there, but I would still like to go back one day. Italy will always have a special place in my heart. I have visited many countries in Europe, but there are still some places where I haven't been, and I would like to visit those places or countrĂes. One of my dreams is to visit Bulgaria and Romania.

I have seen pictures in books and programs on television of places that I haven't yet been to. I saw some celebrations happening in Australia on television and traveling around Europe I made an Australian friend. We become pen friends and she sent me photos and postcards. I was so keen to go there and did on my trip around the world. When I was 19 I went to St Lucia and since then have been to lots more tropical islands. I have a good knowledge of flights and which destinations are possible, cheap to get to or expensive to travel to. I am attracted my wildlife and superb landscapes. I will be going to Cape Town this month. The flight was quite pricey but my toddler son is going for just 10% of the fare. So it is wonderful to travel before he is two years old. In his younger days I thought I would see how he got on during shorter flights. So I took him to Portugal and the Baltic Countries because they seemed lovely and they were. 2009 it is time to take my toddler son to Africa. I have to make sure where I travel is appropriate for him.

OMG, envy you alot, South Africa was in my wish list, but my husband is not so adventurous to travel to this kind of country. I have baby son too, and almost 10 mths old, yes this is a good time to bring toddler before 2 years old, I consider Singapore Arlines as I'm from Singapore is really worth it for him, and good flight service as well. Anyway I also wish travel to Europe but haven't get a chance to go there. Most only Asia and America. Anyway. wish you have a good and enjoyable trip with your family.

phalz81, For me it would be those travel magazines, destination documentaries, friend's travel pictures and recommendations. I like to try out new destinations and experience the various cultures and lifestyles. E.g. Thailand - I have covered quite a bit of the country and have been to literally almost every province there. Traveling for me is beyond the shopping, food and ambiance. I just like the complete experience. I do hope that you will be able to travel to Johannesburg eventually and maybe to Kruger National Park as well. It will be worth the experience. Have a nice day.

If you like adventurous trip, have u travel to indonesia??? it has so many cities and lots of cultures, good foods, specially Bali. But of course the situation where lots terrorist attack maybe will stop you to go there. Just backpacking and just choose accommodation which is inexpensive, do not stay at 5 stars, that's always be a target.Anyway I love to do backpacking, but of course not with my husband, with bunch of friends instead, he is not fond with backpacking and be a survivor hahaha.Anyway good day to you too...

phalz81, Well, did you say Indonesia? Yes, heard, been there and quite extensively. Just no terrorists except I cannot say that they do not have petty thieves, pickpockets and professional beggars. However, I must say that the places I had been just isn't terrorist agenda and agenda. Also, let's just say that I am one of those fortunate ones to be absent from the riots, Silkair episode, the Bali bombing and tsunami - I suppose my time ain't up yet. Anyway, people change and hope that your hubby will change his perception about backpacking holidays. If not, you will still be enjoying the luxurious part of it. Cheers.

Hi phalz I like to go places that are clean and where they speak something I can understand. Portuguese, Spanish and English speaking countries are my only considerations. That's why I have Puerto Rico and Rio high on my to-do list, alhtough I'd never turn down another trip to Portugal. I love Portugal. Anyway, I've got other ideas and fun stuff written down.
