People have been fighting over land territories and the civilians are sad to say affected by it. My country has its own fair share of such things before. Good thing it is peaceful now. I do consider her home of the brave and land of the free.
Do you consider your country land of the free or home of the brave? Why?

I personally don't consider that any country having a political system tributary to the interests of the elites could be a craddle of freedom. Freedom is just an illusion we buy in order to feed our national ego not the reality we face on a daily basis. How can you be free in a world of bills, social bonds (poverty, etc)? You can't. Land of the brave? I, again doubt it. Heroes don't fight offensive wars. Neither they start wars in the name of peace, as fighting a war in the name of peace is like making love in the name of virginity
