What is your focus for 2009?

What will you be focusing on this year? I assume everyone who is going to has made their new year's resolutions. Having a focus is a wonderful way to reach Dec 31st feeling like you've accomplished something. Are you focusing on finances, personal growth, family, etc? Or are you just floating by, seeing where you end up at the end of the year?
My focus this year will be on my finances. Obviously with the crappy economy and several key businesses closing or suffering layoffs, now isn't the time to think that my job is secure. Besides, its a crappy paying job anyway. :) So this year I am seeking to not only increase my income, but also diversify it. That way if one income dries up, I'll have others to support me with.
So what's your focus and goals for the upcoming year?

I am planning ot write more on line for payment. That is my goal anyways. I plan on writing more product reviews, and writing and responding here on mylot more and on Gather and to get more articles on Associated Content, and Helium.
I would also like to make it a goal to work out at least 4 times per week for at least a half hour. Focusing on my health more than losing weight, although I hope that will be a side benifit.

Just don't be surprised if you gain before you lose. Muscle weighs more then fat. :) I've been looking at Helium to expand my projects list, but I'm not sure if its for me. I haven't really played with it to figure out how it all works yet.

My focus would be on my family. Specifically my newborn son. He will be a month old 1/10. I'd like to keep him relatively healthy and have he and his big sister bond. Having various income avenues sounds like a smart idea. Good luck with that.

Awww, I bet he's precious. That sounds like a wonderful goal to me. I always wanted a large family, I think I'm just addicted to babies. :) Thanks for the luck, and I hope everything goes well with your new addition. Congrats!

Well, like you due to the Economic situation happening everywhere with people loosing jobs, Medical, housing, etc my focus mostly this yr. is on Finances as well. I am going to figure out ways to bring my Credit Cards down to where I am not paying in so much interest, and at the same time figure out ways to keep my head above water with my other bills as well.

I've never met a New Year's resolution that I couldn't break, but this year I have momentum. For a little over a month I've been trying to figure out how to make some extra cash via online opertunities. Well, like any education, you're not likely to get a good one for free, and with every scam I get smarter. To be honest, I even saw the last one coming, but I thought I still has a couple more days :( That's not to say that I haven't made profit on a few :), and at least recouped my initial investment on a few others :| Anyway, despite starting a month early, I still consider this to be my 2009 New Year's resolution (more of a goal actually). I think I'll just chalk up December as Training, and treat the minor losses as interest-free Student Loans. So far, I haven't lost a penny in 2009.

I know how that is. I've been around the block a few times with scams, so I finally just gave up..on paying for anything that is! If I can't sign up free and make money, then I move on. I refuse to pay for anything...there are too many free ways to make money for me to pay a cent. :)
