I am sure we all like to laugh and most of our problems are really got diluted while laughing. In my personal opinion I like humour and jokes to be a subject in schools as those talents students in their creative humour sense could make others laugh. There are many humour characters in cartoons and movies. Hope if this talent is brighten up by giving special attentions I am sure this world will be laughing out their problems. Let whole world laugh more and more than they cry. Let forget our sadness and laugh and make others laugh. I wish humour and Jokes (H&J) may become soon another subject in schools. Lets make them laugh and also make them healthy. A small laughing bomb exploded with big impact could even conquer the enemies who have real bombs that could even take a life. So lets start making these harmless laughing bombs for the wellness and peace of this world from our root level itself.Ha ha ha....

That might not be a bad idea. If humour is made as a school level subject, it should be taught in a way that does not hurt others. It would do well to teach the kind of humour that does not poke fun at people, a kind of humour where all can laugh instead of having a person or group be the butt of jokes. We should also be taught how to laugh at ourselves.

yes it is so true, laughing is really good for us, and it makes us feel better, sometimes people are just too serious and they do need to relax and enjoy life a bit more.

Hello Shamrack. It would be nice if there were such a subject for students to learn some art of humor and jokes. This way, life will be much easier for us if we have learned and mastered this art. Good idea, friend.

I AGREE 1 MILLION PERCENT
I agree with your suggestion, SHAMRACK. As we all know laughter is the best medicine or maybe we can make people ROFL (rolling on floor laughing). Yeah...maybe by some story telling, dumb proverbs, body language telling or might be for some photo laugh.
So in this discussion, from me only a 'photo laugh'. As 'A Picture Writes Thousands Words'. Thanks you SHAMRACK for sharing the good topic for our discussion.

Humour & Jokes in school curriculum! Very interesting!
Nowadays kids are very serious. In the modern world,
Children are lacking their childlike character b'coz of many reasons.
We can save them from this situation by arranging programmes to make them
laugh. It's not the jokes as it is, but the quality of joke that matters.

Thats a superb idea friend and a great thought indeed ..It develops one creativity in looking things and lean on lighter side of life along with strengthing one's character and cultivating a positive energy in child s mind..What world needs today is humour ..People have forgotten to see lighter sides of their life in hectic world..

That is an interesting thought, maybe it could be taught in high school. I took drama in high school and we did study improv a little bit, that was really fun. They actually do have comedy school, my ex-brother in law who is really funny went to comedy school. He has performed at some local comedy clubs. So if that is something you are interested in you should look in to that.
