Being A Chemical Engineering Student

whew! wow i dont know why i decided to pursue this course, well its very challenging for an average student like me.Before i was thinking that when you hear "chemical engineering" most likely youre job is confined in chemical mixing with differnt colors,laboratory works, explosives, something like that, but now i know its the chemist work, any way it is also related to us in a way we're the one upscaling the product they have made for mass production, something like that.. anyway, soon i'll be graduating, 29 units to go! very happy for what i've gathered and learned. much sacrifices had given, pressure is intense, really time consuming, hardworking... yet self fulfilling, guys just enjoy learning, always think in a positive way.. then after all, no regrets at all=)

Hi dear mjeugenio, I too have the same idea about chemical engineers. I myself is not an engineer, but have a liking for the field. But I really enjoy learning. I think any human being is living so long as one can enjoy learning. Otherwise, it is just living by the body which has not charm at all and life is dull. Even something learned five years back has come to use one fine day and turned me a winner. So I believe learning is the only thing to increase one's value. Thinking in a positive way has a much deeper impact on life and overall productivity both in personal life and in job.

chemical engineering is a different engineering branch from all others. a different subject. other civil, electrical , mechanical and electronics all have their own topics.

somehow we have a different subjects, because we should have a deeper understanding on chemistry subjects unlike other courses..

Engineering itself is a fun and learning experience...I am myself a mechanical engineer and loved every bit of my college life
