I had lots of chocolate during the holiday season. I had chocolate cakes, bars, candies and desserts - some were bought and some were given by friends, relatives and members of the family coming home. In fact, most of them are still the refrigerator. I didn't eat much as I already learned my lesson about eating too much chocolate. Now I eat chocolates in moderation.

Unfortunately I only consumed chocolate once during the holidays. But, not because I didn't want it. The reason was due to an antibiotic I was taking that said I could not have anything with caffeine including cocoa (including chocolate). But, before I saw that caffeine included chocolate, I drank some chocolate milk =] Not nearly what I was aiming for but still worth the tastiness =]

Oh, that was pretty bad. My daughter was once hospitalized for UTI too and she was also not allowed to eat chocolates and drink soda, cola and chocolates, I hope everything is well now.

oh I had a UTI so I had to drink plenty of water and no caffeinated beverages. Unfortunately I have to go back to the doctor again since this is the 4th time they've given me antibiotics that haven't worked. But, it was only two different kinds given to me in the pattern ABAB. Hopefully this time they'll find something for me. I'm growing a bit tired of not having coffee anymore.

Well, chocolate is really a food that tempt us to eat even if we are sometimes not allowed to eat, for health reasons.

I can't begin to tell you how much chocolate I ate during the holidays. I should weigh a ton as a result. I still have chocolate in the house and I won't be happy until it's all eaten, by me. I'm one of those people that just can't have chocolate or candy in the house. Our kids gave me chocolate and my husband bought bag after bag for me. Once it's gone, that's it for me for awhile. I can't continue pigging out everyday. It's been fun though..lol

Hi Carol. I can imagine. I used to be like you before - pigging out chocolates as if no chocolates will come tomorrow. LOL . Enjoy eating more chocolates.

I also received a lot of chocolates this christmas... but i haven't consumed a lot... most of them are still in the fridge... and i think i have enough chocolate to last me for two more month... i share it with my daughter... but i don't let her eat too much... just enough for one day... so that she won't have tooth decay...

it is good that chocolates do have longer life span and we can store them in the refrigerator. It's good that you don't give too much chocolate to your daughter because aside from the fact that it will destroy her teeth, it will also make her fat. .

I used to eat lots and lots of chocolates especially during Christmas. Nowadays, I try to eat right and eat in moderation. In fact, this Christmas, I only ate around 2 bars of chocolate.
Chocolates are a treat indeed and it's a struggle for me to resist eating them all the time.
Anyway, it's a good thing you learned how to eat in moderation so goodluck to you.

Yeah, I learned my lesson the hard way! It was terrible and promised not to do it again. It's really very difficult to resist chocolates! Yummy. . ..

A little chocolate woudn't give you a tooth decay provided you brushyour teeth after eating them. It's also good that you don't them for you will not be prone to diabetes.
