We are known of being hospitable and respectful especially to elders..but nowadays it's seldom seen. Is your family still practicing your customs and tradition? Few of ours are; kissisng the hands of our parents, grandmas and grandpas before and after going from and to some places. Letting the elders sit on public utility vehicles rather than the younger sitting on it..guiding the elders walking accross the streets...etc etc are your family members still practicing this culture and tradition here on our country?

I am still practicing our tradition, especially in terms of respecting to our elderly relatives, not only relative as well as close family friends. It's been part of filipino customs where we can show our respect to them.

We are a Filipino-Chinese family, and we usually kiss the elders when we meet them and before we leave. I think it's a good sign of respect and the traditions you mentioned should be continued throughout generations

Ye, we are still practicing these customs and traditions in our family, we follow the old filipino traditions up to these days. We, children in the family, always kissed hands of our elders in the house including aunties and uncles and other older relatives. We also follow what our parents told us not to do, we never answered back our parents. Our family still adheres old traditions and still continuing it to the present generation nothing much change, I think this practice is more sensible than the practice of the new breed generation which is more wild and no respect to the elders.
