Selling mail

last month ,I wrote a lot of selling mail and sent to my customer but I think it had no effect ,because we got no order from the addresses we sent mail . In mail ,I wrote introduction about my business ,and our products ,and suggest they buy some .
If you have experience in writing selling mail ,or some stuff for writing ,please tell me .I didn't sold any with my mails and I want to change

Mailshots and their electronic equivalents have a response rate that is TINY. I mean, 1% or less. To make any sales, you'd have to spam an absolutely massive number of people (not a good idea with most ISPs) or target your audience very carefully. This may be the main reason there were no responses, rather than the writing.
