There is a good deal to be said for many Feng Shui ideas. The basis of Feng Shui is, originally, to choose a 'good' place to live and to be buried but it is more often seen today as a way to create a space that is a pleasant, enlivening and positive environment. This is, perhaps, the aim of most architects and interior designers. Most Western interior designers consider their work to be an art form whereas Feng Shui would see it as a 'spiritual science' and proposes rules for a reason which many in the West might consider foreign to our way of thinking. The fact is, however, that whatever the reasoning behind many of the things that Feng Shui dictates, they work. It is almost always more pleasant to walk into a space that has been designed with regard to Feng Shui principles in mind than it is to walk into one where little or no thought has been given to how the space works on the eye. I see no harm at all, even if you don't subscribe to the concept of Qi, in using principles that work and create a harmonious space. If there are a number of choices available for the siting of a building and there are no other reasons for choosing one or the other, it is arguably better to choose a site that complies with a reasoning of some kind rather than by simply tossing a coin!

Yes, I believe in it. You konw in the world there are many magical things, you have to trust in it. To be honest, recently in order to change my bad luck I made a little Feng Shuizhen in my office, more accurate it is in my desk. :)
