people eat meat to get protein, and iron.. and also to regulate body heat for the people that live in the colder regions.

Human beings are omnivores. Our gut can extract nutrients from a wide variety of sources. To maintain health we must eat foods which contain proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and even trace amounts of metals. Without them we develop deficiencies which, if left uncorrected, can drastically shorten our lives. The best way to maintain optimum health is to eat the widest variety of food in proper proportions for an individuals level of need.
Is it truely natural? Yes, since we are omnivorse eating meat is very natural. If it wasn't natural we would not be able to process it and extract nutrient from it.

I am vegan and I grew up a vegetarian when I found out where meat came from when I was four years old. My sister is five years older than me and she was the person that told her. She is still vegetarian and has a husband that is almost vegan and four vegetarian children.
Babies and children eat and drink what their mum gives them. They develop their taste buds and acquire likes and dislikes. They won't have the knowledge for some time on where their food has come from. I am a teacher and Year 3 children aged 7 to 8 will learn about where food comes from in detail. By this stage they are have a taste for meat and don't think of the cruelty. Some teenagers have an inquiring mind and go vegetarian because of the cruelty factor.

I think eating meat ..is natural to human biengs... as it helps to keep the balance of prey predator relationship...humans are natural carnivores ..cause we have canines to tear meat and other teeths to grind etc...Because we have learnt cooking and are able to eat different types of vegetables ...some of us are turning pure vegetarians...some of the vitamins in our body can only be met through meat...so in my opinion having meat is no harm...
