over protective parents

Hello cutieni81! My parents are overprotective with me too. When I'm still in highschool, I can't go out at night without my brother to accompany me. If they will see me talking to a guy they will scold me. I am not allowed to go home late too.

Just try explain to parent if U'r big girl & u must show to u'r parents if they can trust U if they not do protect U.

Parents tend to worry, and that is their job. People are trying their hardest to raise decent human beings and if it means being a little overprotective, then so be it. You'll probably act the same way when you have kids.

Over protective is a very subjective phrase.It means different with different parents and their children. Some children think parents who checks out on their friends are overprotective. Some think parents who send their children to and fro their school is overprotective. You need to be overprotective on certain things. With the crime rate going up (especially among friends and lovers), parents can't afford not to over protect their child.

my parents are not so over protective. i love the way they handle us, they never had either problems with us. They just ask how things been going on never bothered interfering with our friends activities, well ofcourse they do know too that we're not doing something wrong. My parents do forbid us to have a relationship on my age, and im obeying their rules too. I know they just want the best for us and guide us to the right path [;
