what color bra should she wear??

My friend bought a white tank top that is made out of a very thin and a little see-through fabric. She said she needed a black bra so it wouldn't be noticable when she wears the white tank top. i though she was wrong, i thought she was to get a color bra that was the closest color to her skin color. when we went to the bra store we asked the sales lady and she said that she needed a black bra. we are both have different skin colors. i'm asian and she had brown skin. who's right?
