dogs in clothes

I think putting dogs in clothes is cute also and some times practical! I have two dogs--a small maltese/poodle mix and a boxer. Of course I dress my maltepoo up all the time--she's so cute and cuddly and looks so adorable with her hair all done up and her outfits on. On the other hand, this past Christmas, I had to buy my Boxer a sweater. My husband and I were going to visit my parents for the holidays and my mom is really not a big fan of having dogs inside the house, so my dogs had to sleep in the garage. Because my Boxer gets chilly very easily (because he has thin fur), I kept him warm by letting him sleep in a thick sweater. Not only was this practical, but he was cute as a button!

For me it depends on the size and the disposition of the dog. If I were to put any kind of clothing on my lab/pit mix, Buddy, he would have it shredded in less than a minute! So would Snuggles. But a friend of mine has an adorable Jack Russell named Katie that just loves to wear her 'party dresses' everywhere she goes. I've bought her a number of dresses to wear. LOL

I have 2 very small dogs. I have not bought them any clothes. I can understand where getting an article of clothing to keep them warm would be good. But I do not know how people can spend so much money on making sure their pet has clothes for every occasion. I have seen people where there pets have more clothes than themselves. Well each to their own.

I love clothes on dogs. It's just so cute! I'm sure it's like babies with huge Halloween outfits. Some are just going to down right refuse.

One of my cousin used to do that but I think animals get irritated when they are wearing clothes. Happy posting!

I like dogs in clothing. My chow chow has a few outifts. He enjoys wearing them and seems so proud to put them on. My favorite is is sweat outfit. He looks so darn cute in it. He also has a coat with matching boots. I dont keep him in the clothing for very long though because he is so fuzzy i think he might get too hot, but he doesnt mind wearing them, unless he is just doing it to entertain me, which I am most certain is the case!

I think dogs wearing clothes are adorable! I can't put clothes on my dogs because they just don't feel comfortable...they don't move anymore when they have clothes on them! lol.
