have you evr worn an outfit that matches your kids clothes. would you ever go out in public like that.
my daughter and i got thing 1 and thing 2 shirts when we were on vacation in florida. but there lots of people wear matching shirts. but now that we are home there is no way i'd go out like that. i feel rediculous.

I don't think I would dress my children in identical clothes (unless there was some reason for it & at the moment I can't think of any legit reason to do so) but there is some logic to dressing your little ones in similar clothes as yourself. Clothes from the same color family and fabrics is what I mean. My aunt clued me in with this ages ago.Her husband is blind so she would lay out his clothes for him, and of course lay out her children's clothes when they were small. If everyone is wearing similar colors & fabric doing the laundry is faster & easier. Everything will need the same heat & cycle setting.

I haven't ever done it. If I saw people doing it in normal life, I might raise an eyebrow but go on. (Does wearing stuff supporting the same team count, LOL?) I do, however, think it is a good idea on vacation (to crowded places like a theme park) on the off chance you get separated from your child, especially if there is something that stands out about what you were wearing. That way, when someone asks you what the child has on, you can point to what you are wearing and not put much thought into describing it.

I find it rather funny if the entire family wears the same colour and similarly stitched clothes. i had a neighbour who had three daughters. He woudl buy one length of cloth sufficient fo the entire family. he woudl get frocks made for his daughters, a blouse for his wife and a shirt for himsoef from the same cloth. it was really funny. Ok do not wear it at the same time, but they did and it was five of them in the same cloth in different sizes. ha ha ha it was really funny. it was the talk of the colony.
