A few years ago my husband got me an XM radio for my car and I didn't particularly want it. In my mind it just was another expense, that we didn't need, when there is free broadcast radio and CDs to listen to in the car. However, I quickly came to love it and now I hardly ever listen to regular radio at all.
A little more than a year ago Oprah Winfrey launched her XM radio station, Oprah & Friends, and I have become totally addicted to it. Now it is rare for me to listen to music in the car, as I am almost always checking out some of these talk radio offerings. And then I was lucky enough to get a special XM radio that allows me to record content and listen to it later. It's kinda like an Ipod, but only records XM stuff. I absolutely love to listen to Oprah & Friends.
My favorites have been Gayle King, Marianne Williamson, Rabbi Shmuley, Michael Losier (Law of Attraction) and Oprah herself. Does anyone else out there love this station? Which hots do you prefer?

As sad as it sounds, I have never even heard of these radios. I don't have one and don't for see myself getting one. I'm glad you came to like yours!

I've never heard of this station, but wonder if it's not syndicated yet. I have to say I've had a problem with Oprah in the past, maybe she's improved some on her opinions and ideas. If it ever airs in my area, then I can say I'd listen to it a few times to get a feel for it.

It's on XM Radio, and now Sirius Radio too, so you'd have to have a satellite radio to receive. I can't say that I have agreed with every single thing Oprah has ever said or promoted, but I so admire her for encouraging everyone to live their best lives. I tremendously enjoy listening to these shows and would recommend to anyone! Thanks for responding!
