Funny Vs Sarcasm

I don't know the answer to that but you are very right. Comedians are a perfect example. A person of color or ethnic group can joke about there own, but someone from the outside persay, they take it as racial slanger. I'm a big fan of Jeff Dunham. He goes across the board on some issues, but I think he makes a point too. The why of it all will be a mystery. I think a group of people can be overly sensitive in their thinking. I think society has paced too many stessors on being politically correct that they've lost sight of a lot of things. George Carlin is a great example of it. He was a brillant comedian that picked apart how screwed up things got because of the "policital correct" movement. I'm afraid it will always be that way and that makes me sad to a certain extent. I don't know if that's because that's the main focus of the world today or because people are blindly following others when it comes to pointing a finger and telling another "Hey, that's offensive". If a person can't find humor in themselves, they very rarely found it around them. Good thread. It's though provoking.

When you study it awhile I think you will find most humor is hurtful, for me the funniest things are things that I can picture happening to me and I am laughing at myself. I never like things that make fun of others. This is why I love Bill Cosby's humor so much. Things he talks about happen to all of us.
