platinum lounge: is it worth?

hi all... i joined platinum lounge a week back. i did some activity in those topics and contests and surprisingly i got gifted lot of points. i don't know why.but i was very happy.
then i was active for another 2 days. during 31st i think, i lost some points. i saw in mylot that many members lost points. so i thought its some kind of year end problem and will be rectified.
then i was off for 2 days. when i saw today i lost 50,000 points. there was a message that said " today we received information regarding 4 repeat posts or more in ilaugh. you have been deducted 50,000 points for this infraction"
i dont even remember posting any repeated posts in ilaugh. even if i did, i dint know thats its such a serious thing. atleast they can give me a warning or something. i was off for a couple of days and now i see this?
i lost interest with pl and i think they are playing games with me. i am seriously considering to get out of it.. anyone has any opinions?

I know what happened to you. Not only you got deducted on points. You see, they are now doing some police since some members are abusing the points system. Tabbing is not allowed, and posting same graphics over and over again.
You can join contest and lotto, you might be lucky enough to win some points or even dollars.

hi,,, i have not posted any graphics till now... that too in ilaugh.. i just responded by saying good joke or something like that.. and i dont remember doing it so many times...
and depending on lunk is quite risky if i want to earn some cash every month isnt it? anyway.. thank you

lotto is just an added fun, there are other ways to earn points there, just have to explore the board

i think it is not worthy since all the things are done discreetly by the admin. They should show you the evidence at least. and 50,000points is a lot of points!

yes atleast they should show evidence. as far as i can remember i did not do anything that deserved loosing so many points. now i see that the same thing happened to some people here too.. either it is poor administration by them or they are playing games with me that i dont like at all..

If it does compare your previous answers than maybe their program should advice you right away instead, unless they do it manually (very time consuming and that's why they punish so harshly).
I've only seen like two payment proofs (from PL) and those was from same user here on Mylot so never joined that site myself. Need more proof :)

i dont remember posting the same answers again and again... maybe it could've happened by mistake... they dint even warn me...
even i joined because some people said they earned money very quickly... but i thought to try it.. now i wonder why i did it...

hi raulmetalhead. The same thing happened with me as well. I joined PL about a month back and for alot of posts I got 99 999 points which was really very motivating for me to be active there. But i dont know suddenly my points became 140 000 from 3million. I dont know what's wrong with them and then today i got a message which says 50000 deducted for repeated posts and i dont think i did any repetition in my posts. I may have written LOL to some of the jokes but that does not mean they can simply deduct 50 000 points from my account. I was very depressed and my rank became down from $3 payout to $1. I am always so unlucky in these money making ways online. I am really in need of this extra dollars but i am very bad at it. I am still active on PL but i dont know what to do.

hi rizzu... that exact same thing things happened to me too. i too dont remember posting anything repetitive in those threads. i dont understand why they did it. i totally lost my trust with them. i think it is better to concentrate here. i wasted a lot of my time in platinum lounge and got nothing but bad name and no money.

I signed up thru that site as well. I have not logged in lately I should log in and see what is going on. I have so much going on online I cannot keep track of what is what anymore. I am trying to write down eveything I do so I can keep a personal record and know when and where I am at. Thanks for the post. Good luck, I have the same username there as here if you want to know.

that is a good way to keep track of what you are doing. i always forget things. but i just write down the important dates or last day to pay fees or somethings like that. not much...
yea.. il try to cya there if i go there again.. which is what i am still thinking whether to do or not..

I also face the same problem in Platinum lounge. There is no correct information on points system and the way we earn points is also confusing, so i stopped working on Platinum lounge until i have correct information.

yes. i think i am going to stop too. some members here advised me to contact administrators and all. but i dont think i want to do that. it is their fault. why should i start running after them. if they dont rectify those faults.. i will simply get out of that.

It is a good site and I do belong to it. I like here better though. When I first joined platinum lounge I was there a lot but they changed a lot of things which I understand but I just lost interest in the site. I still do belong but I haven't logged in awhile. But I will end up by saying it is a good site. Maybe if you contact the admin there they could give you a better accounting of why you lost that many points. You know ask them to give you a specific reason.

Hi to all......... Well, I think platinumlounge is a great site......... I joined that site during the end of October 2008.......... Since then, I have been paid during every payout week.......... I already earned six dollars........... And, I am expecting another two dollars today......... Recently, they have been deducting points for graphic comments........ And also they are suspending those users who are having two usernames.......... I think you should contact the admin for the exact reason............

hi, thank you for your advice.i dont have two usernames and i did not put even a single graphic comment. just taking all those points makes me crazy. i dont want to contact the administrators and all. it is their fault. if they dont rectify it they will loose a user. i was very active for few days.
