Friendster or Myspace? What Makes them Tick?

I am not an IT person so I don't know what they're called or how to classify them.
But I am a member of friendster since 2004 but have never been that "active" as in checking the site regularly. Once in a blue moon, maybe.:D But yeah, I do have some testimonials and I am elated and honored by each of them, from friends I have encountered online and off-line. mostly from some messageboard where I have been an avid practitioner (lol) for quite a few years until now.
Well, it's great. I got to meet old friends and gather new ones, and ignore some...
Then there's Myspace, etc., etc. and it's like they are competing who's more popular or have more users? So, what do you think? Any inputs are welcome just as long as it is related to the two sites. Oh, I am just tired to ask, really.:) Go shoot!

I think Myspace is more popular around the world than Friendster but I am not an expert about that. I think MyLot is a bit difference. First of all it pay (at least for the moment) to be on line ant writing discussion, then is improving very quickly.

I've been a member of friendster since last year but like you I'm not really that active there. I just check my account every once in a while. I actually have two accounts there unfortunately I forgot the password and the e-mail of the first one so I made a new email add and a new account there. LOL!
I don't know about myspace, though. Is it a site like friendster also?

Im an active member of friendster. Well, i can say that myspace is also good like friendster. I am also a member of myspace but im more active in friendster. And yeah, there are so many filipinos in friendster but it doesnt mean that they were overtaking it. Maybe Filipinos really just enjoy their stay in friendster because you will be able to meet people with the same interest as you.
