My husband snores!

My husband snores. A LOT! he is snoring right now (turkey dinner does him in every time). Some nights he wakes me up. Usually I just elbow him till he rolls over or something, but sometimes that doesn't work. He says he won't wear those nasal strips cuz they look ridiculous. I just tell him that he snores like a lumberjack in the woods and suck it up. Is there something else I could do?

yes there is somehting you can do. recod him while sleeping on a video camera and let him watch it when he wakes up. people does not know how irritaing they could be when they snore loud but they dont know it. that is the only thing i know right now that could work. if he finds out that he is really driving you nuts then maybe he will cooperate and wear the nasal strips

ROFLMAO!! I can already picture his face watching himself snore like a chainsaw! Oh, I gotta do it! Of course, I have to be stealthy about it. I don't want him to misunderstand the point of a video camera in the bedroom (oh my!)

my husband also snores and i also don;t know the correct solution for it. u can see below matter which my friend has told to me about snoring. snoring can often seem like a problem without solution. if u want to stop the problem of snoring , u have to see the severity of snoring. identifying the cause, can cure the snoring problem. people who have snore often has too much of throat and nasal tissue ,or floppy tissue , that is prone to vibrate. evaluating how and when he is snoring, will help to pinpoint whether snoring can control or not. snoring can also be symptom of sleep apnea, a potentially life threatening condition. a person with sleep apnea gets up more times in night because he has to regain the breathing, but usually rememembers nothing at all about his wakenings. loosing weight is more effective for curing snoring. so because of overweight my husband has snoring problem. so see if u;r husband too has over weight. he should also clear his nasal passages. and he should avoid such foods ,alchohol , and medications before bed. high fat milk products or soya milk products can cause mucus to build up in throat and can lead to snoring as well.

I know this friend of mine who actually has to hook herelf up to some type of machine that stop her breathing when she goes to sleep because her snoring is so bad. I don't know how safe it is but her doctor prescribed it for her. Maybe he should talk to a professional if it's really bad.

i like the kind of earmuff-things that block out sound that people who use chainsaws and other loud power tools use.my dad had a pair laying around the garage. I tried them out and they worked really well at blocking out sound, and they fit on pretty comfortable.maybe try getting one of those ??
