making money on ebay

hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone has actually made money on ebay? i have been trying on and off again to make some money on ebay everytime i try, my item does't sell for much, and/or the fees are too high so i make no profit. is there somewhere i can actually get the products cheap and resell them for profits.

I don't have a business, but I occasionally sell a few items on ebay. The most money I made was with sheet music, which I got really cheap at auctions and garage sales and then resold. also, I made money on my duplicate stamps. Most of the items I sell I get at either garage sales or auctions. I buy box lots and take out the stuff I want, then list the rest. So actually its all profit, because the original price is for the things that I needed.

I tried selling on Ebay but like you all of my profits were eaten away by the fee's that were charged. I have found that Amazon offers a very competitive to ebay the ability to sell. You can list certain items and not pay a thing till the item actually sells. Amazon also offers acutions for 10cents per item(they may have up the price a bit) but its a good thing to look into.
