Iam very proud to say this. But iam equally facing competition all over the world. Iam sun certified twice now and i really see a big improvement in me these days. Iam a core java and java swing programmer. I am looking forward to learn jsp. Please provide your suggestions if any one is working on it on some basic areas. Also share ur experience of using java.

Hi,guy, I am a java programmer and I focus on J2EE related techknowledges. I also have the SJCP. I think the certification is of less value, but the experience you preparing the exam is very important. I am living in Beijing now. I guess you're also a Chinese~

I also know Java. It is the language we use in my company. In my job Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) exam has great value since an increase in salary is given to those who can take and pass the test. Also, there are many things one can know while reviewing for the exam. I appreciate Java more as I review for the SCJP exam.

Congratulations on your Sun certification.
I am not a Java programmer, I only learn the basic Java in college, and I have not learned Java Swing too. I heard that it's for User Interface, right? I am actually a .NET programmer, where sometimes I need to use javascript in my ASP.NET web applications too, but I usually just find the resources in the Internet for the javascript I need to use.

Ya, I too am a java programmer and my specialization is also limted to Core Java and Swing, just like you! I haven't appeared for any certification yet, but I will after preparing well.
U need to learn J2EE since most of the work in industries is carried out in it only. What 2 certifications did U do?
