well as a mother of 4 i know that children go through all kinds of growing spurts. at that age it is common for them to change everyday patterns. Its hard to say with out knowing the facts about your children. How long are they staying up for? Do they call for you when they get up? there brains are working very fast at that age. and the smallest of things can disturb there sleep. Do you allow them to sleep with you? It might help them get through this stage and give you more rest at the same time. Hope this helps.

My girls are going to bed anywhere from 7to8:30. When they get up the just scream nonstop until they wake the other one up. When I take them to bed with me they toss and turn all night and then we never get any sleep. I've tried warm milk, rocking, ect.

It sounds like it is probably a growth spurt. Just make sure they stay on regular schedule. They will be back to sleeping all night in no time. Also have they had their check ups? There could also be something going on with their health like maybe an ear infection? Just an idea! Good luck I know how important sleep is especially since I have only got about 4 hours in the last two days because of a 22 month old who has been sick!
