Do you remember those teddy ruxpin bears with the tape player on the back and it came with the book? I was at Costco a few days ago and I saw it. I remember that bear when I was like 8, maybe younger. That was like almost 20 years ago. I didn't know they were still around. Did you ever have one?

I had one when I was a kid. I tried to put mine in a scissor lock and kill it. I have pictures of me staring wide eyed at it like I wanted to kill it. That thing made it for several years before I got older and didn't really enjoy listening to him talk anymore.
I've known about the new and improved Teddy Ruxpin for awhile now. I remember hearing about him coming back and have seen him in stores a few times. I can't belive they brought him back after all this time and that he's not doing so bad. I wonder if our generation remembers him and is buying it for their kids as a way to keep the tradition going or something.

lol...mine lasted a few years too. Although I kepted messing with his mouth so much that the bottom part of it fell off. I also remember it being heavy. I remember dropping it, and the back part of him landed on my foot. I don't think I really liked him . I think my parents just bought it because it was popular back then. Yeah, when I saw it in the store, it just looked the same to me. I have a 2 year old and I don't think I will be purchasing that for her. : )
Anyway, have a good night or morning. :)

Teddy Ruxpin from about 20 years ago is very collectible now. The company that created Teddy decided to bring the design out of mothballs, so to speak, and improve him and sell him again.
I didn't have one, because I really didn't care for talking animals. I have found a few of the old ones and have purchased them and resold them, but I don't keep them. I didn't buy one for my daughter either, as she showed no interest in having one.
