what kind of music interests you???????????and why so???????

Even I like soft, romantic numbers. And also blues and country songs. I find them very soothing and just changes my mood anytime.

hi, ammie i really like all types of music. i guess what i look for is the message or the lyrics in the song. when i find it funny or i can relate to the words, then i immediately like the song. but my passion is really alternative-rock. i was crazy about rock during the 90's (i was a teenager then LOL!). and these days, i still find some rock songs that i specially like. have a nice day!

I enjoy all kinds of music too, I grew up in a musical family so I have an open ear for music I love some classic 80tys, and music of today as well, and I love to listen to a good movie soundtrack if I can find one, and one of my favorite movie soundtracks is the lost boys and moulin rough I love all types of music I could never completely hate any style of music I even listen to a little rock I like a little linkin park and some nickle back as well as some pop music too. you can check out my playlist on my profile and see what I like I have three playlist but I posted one in my profile.

Hi ammie, in our country, India, there is a rich tradition of Classical Music. There are music for different time of the day, different seasons and for different moods. And based on the main themes, there are so many sub categories. I like Indian Classical Music(ICM) and semi classical ones. ICM is introvert in nature. One sings/plays for the pleasure obtained from the singing or playing the instrument. If the listener can become one with the music, immense pleasure is created in his mind. I am in quest of that never ending pleasure. Wish you a very happy new year

I suppose it is natural to like the music that was around when we were teenagers. For me that should have been the Beatles and the Rolling Stones etc, but before they came along I had discovered the music that they were trying to reproduce - 50s Rock 'n' Roll and Blues. This meant that when they appeared I pretty much ignored them, preferring to dig back into the roots of rock. I'm still discovering more gems from the past over 4 decades later.

Hi, friend. Well like you, I'm also interested in several genre of music. I do love classical ones like Sound of Music. I also like music from the 70's era particularly the mellow ones - Cascades, Barry Manillow, Bread, and other artists. I guess this is quite influenced by my parents and relatives who always listen to their songs. I definitely love praise music or religious songs, specially those sung by the church choir during mass. In fact, I used to borrow the song booklet owned by my aunt. I love to listen to lively music or dances when I'm alone in the house and feeling afraid. Somehow, it drives away my fear rising inside me. Further, I'm interested in tuning to local radio stations playing rock music at times; but not heavy metal, usuall just slow rock or alternative music. My spouse and I listen to songs of foreign artists or those which are originally written and sung in a language other than English. I believe I am absorbing diverse cultures through this manner.
