Why people want living together relationship, instead marriage?

I don't understand why people want live together kind of relationship, instead of real marriage?
my friends are also telling me that they want living together relationship, so they can say them self single..
what do you think?

in my view most people who want a live in relationship are doing so bcoz they want to be out of any law bindings...
in a marriage he/she can't walk away any time...
also this relation helps the couple to understand each other well considering the next step to b a marriage...

Maybe because of thousand years and human progress, women now enjoy the same rights as men.. Marriage is now a choice, not a condition for survival. While some women feel they need marriage to celebrate or validate their relationship, other prefer to define their relationships in their own terms and not be borne down by legalities or traditions that in their view, are obsolete. Some say right person is not enough, they are waiting for the right place, at the right time...

Nowadays, REAL marriage happens to only those couples who love each other intimately, those who think they are made for each other, those who can't live without their spouse even for an hour. Living together relationship is like joint venture deal ! You do something, I do something. This is in your name and that is in my name. When I die you you will get this, when I'll die you will get this,... such moron people. Most probable reason may be money-mindedness and last but not the least, THE heart. It will never be satisfied with one thing, just wants more n more. Also such relationships saves the money of marriage and divorce (just kidding).

In a marriage, both wife and husband should be responsible to their mutual family. And sometimes, the guy who you love very much may be not the guy who is more suitable for you in a life. So you two living together can help you judge whether the guy is really suitable for you. After living together, you may find problems and maybe you don't wanna to stay with him/her, then just break up. Hoever, once get married, it is not easy for you to make a decision. You may have a lot of things to be considered.
