Do you get the bonus for year 2008? or get nothing?

I got a bonus.Incidentally it is my first bonus and it amounted to a little over a months pay.Our company is a semi private company meaning its partially owned by our government and part private.The policy is that if the company as a whole achieves a certain percentage of its Key Performance Indicators and you also earn a certain value on your evaluation then you get an incentive .The evaluations are calculated every three months and that goes toward a final annual evaluation.i worked particularly hard this year and achieved my target successfully and ontime,consequently I got a binus

Nope! No New Year's bonus for us in our company - but we did get our 13th month pay just in time before the holidays started, so that was good enough for us. Anyway, bonuses aren't mandatory so we don't mind that much :) I didn't even get Christmas money from godparents or from my parents! But I didn't really expect any of those - when family members graduate from college, all funds are cut! Completely! Thanks for the response on my discussion :D

I haven't receive news yet for this year's bonus. I will get to know it in another 2 weeks time and I am already aiming to get a 0.1 month bonus. Anything above this level would be a bonus on bonus. If I get nothing, I wouldn't be disappointed. The least is not to be retrenched for the moment while I look for a job elsewhere. Cheers and Happy MyLotting...
