A few month ago, I heard about a site that lets members create online stores and host them for free. Today, I tried to search for such sites but found nothing. I'm willing to buy ecommerce software if it's not too expensive. Please share with me what you know. Thanks.

Here's a site with a limited time (indefinite) offer of free listings: http://madeitmyself.com You still pay a 3% commission on any items sold. I just started a discussion today mentioning the online store that I just opened. Here's the link: http://www.madeitmyself.com/user/joyceshookery.aspx I thought about opening with etsy.com. However, listing is $0.20 per item per month plus a 3.5% commission. Best wishes, Joyce

That depends entirely on what kind of online store you are planning to get my friend. There are those that are already run by itself and all you got to do is promote the stores and products that you prefer. If you're also looking for a serious store by yourself there are also those that you can get for free and for a fee. I can give you examples if you can tell me exactly what you need and want. Cheers!
