do you agree with me his run flow he almost missed three man of the series by a whisker will he join the fabolous four club.............
but we dont treat him as we do for sehwag ,sachin dhoni,yuvi

hope he continues his good form because wasim jaffer is knocking very heavikly at the door with 4 hundreds this ranji season.one fault move and all of gambhirs hard work during the year 2008 will be done and over though he has not much competetion for his doi and t 20 spot.happy lotting

Yes we don't treat Gambhir with the same respect as we do Sachin or Sehwag but the truth is that he is a player with lots of potential...The most inspiring thing which i found in him is the Grit and Determination to succeed and he is proving it by scoring hell lot of runs....Go Gambhir....

Gambhir should be placed above Dhoni.
He is a great player and showing his talent and performing continuously.At present he is the only player on which INDIA can trust most (more than Sachin,Sehwag).
But it not means that Sachin is below Gambhir in performance.Sachin is God of Cricket but the Gambhir is most trustful player at present.

Yes, we do not treat him like other greats you have mentioned, because he has not achieved as much as them.
This is the first year that he has been consistent. Of course he had a great year by scoring 1000 runs in both ODI's & Test matches. If he continues this consistent show he will be revered like the players you have mentioned.

i dont think he missed three man of the series ishant sharma was the deserving winner in the series against australia and so was zaheer against england as bowlers win you test matches and specially the way these two bowled was brilliant. as far as treating him goes no one in indian cricket can be treated like sachin. but he is the same bracket as sehwag, dhoni and yuvraaj which is why he has been given the annual contract similar to them worth 60lakhs. what else can be done to treat him equally.
