did you ever dream of being a DOCTOR?

hey Babes, that's my dream for you too. I never dream of becoming a doctor as I hate those disecting projects. I fear blood and don't want to deal with patients at the emergency room. I don't want the smell of the medicines and I don't want to be at the hospital.

i never had a dream of me being a doctor, in most of my dream i will always find myself in the middle of a battlefield

hi xtian! oh yeah, i did dream of becoming a doctor. it was just that my parents could not afford to send me to a medical college. they said at least, with a four year course, i could immediately find a job. with medicine, that will take a lot of time, then i will have to have internship, then board exams, then specialization, before i can really have a nice practice and we just didn't have the money for that. anyway, i guess that is not what God had intended me to become, so no regrets. i have a wonderful life now. soon to be a mom, too! :-) take care and God bless you! :-)

I did have a dream of becoming a doctor when I was in school. I think that the children dream to become a doctor because they watch their elders giving so much respect to the doctor. One more reason may be that they find everyone of the family running to the doctor if some health problem occurs. Some times it may so happen that the child is having health problem and the doctor cures it with simple medicines. This increases respect for the doctor in the mind of child and so the child dreams to become a doctor. I had a dream of becoming a doctor because, my teachers and relatives used to tell me that I was extra ordinary student and I must become a doctor. However, as I entered into High School, I found sports more interesting than the studies and so I did not pay much attention to studies and so could not become a doctor.

oh yes.. it's like every kids dream isnt' it. Even now, whenever i watch those doctor related dramas, i get all hyped up and wished i can be a doctor. Even when i was young, whenever i watch a certain drama or tv show that deals around hospitals or the likes, i'd start preping myself to study hard and get into med school. But as i great older, reality sets in & i begin to recognize my fears. Which is seeing blood. I don't mind small amounts of blood from little cuts. But i'm unable to take big gashes or wounds and hte likes. Just imagining the surgical theater gives me the jitters.
